About

Nghia Vo

My name is Võ Thành Nghĩa. In Vietnam the family name goes first. In English it flips to Nghia Thanh Vo, and most people just call me Nghia.

I've worked as a semiconductor engineer since 2011. I'm comfortable with test data and spreadsheets. I can read a little code. I can't write it.

A while back I did a 21-day challenge learning Claude Code. I wrote down every mistake I made, and by the end there were 32 of them. That notebook is the reason this site exists. It turns out the mistakes were the useful part. Nobody learns much from a list of things that worked, but a list of 32 ways I got stuck, with what finally got me unstuck, is something another beginner can actually use.

So I'm doing it again. In public this time.

Why now

I'm 38, and I still have a 9-to-5. But the odds of a layoff where I work are high, and honestly, I don't love the job anymore. My wife and I support our two sons, my 75-year-old mom, and a bank loan. I need income that doesn't depend on one employer, and I'd rather start building it now than wait for the bad news.

What this site is

Two things.

The challenge. 21 days of building and selling a small digital product with Claude. A report every Sunday with what I did, what broke, and the numbers.

Guides. Step-by-step write-ups of things I actually did during the challenge. I don't write a guide until I've done the thing myself, and every guide shows what happened when I tried it.

How this site makes money

Right now it doesn't.

Later, some guides may link to tools I used. If a link is an affiliate link, I'll say so at the top of that guide. You pay the same price, and I may get a cut. I only link to tools I've paid for or used for real here.

I also plan to sell the product I build in the challenge. You'll see exactly how many I sell.
